Roger Harris Pump Station - TileFunded: $1,204,444 by MBIE (climate resilience)

This project sees the structural upgrade of the Roger Harris pump station which is critical in the protection of the Paeroa community. The pump station allows for primary use of land, which is lower than the mean high tide level, and removes rain and flood waters to an agreed height. The work includes upgrading inlet bays, screens, handrails and platform access. The upgrade also includes electrical installations to enhance our regional resilience and environmental monitoring ability.
