23 October 2014, Te Rapa Conference and Function Centre

Over 200 people attended the forum, including Collaborative Stakeholder Group (CSG) members and their delegates, Te Rōpū Hautū (project steering group) members, Healthy Rivers Wai Ora committee members and stakeholders from the sectors and communities of the Waikato and Waipa river catchments.

Participants were updated on the project and its technical aspects, and also discussed the CSG’s draft policy selection criteria and working list of values and uses.

Feedback from the forum

A large amount of feedback was collected at the forum.

The CSG considered feedback on the draft policy selection criteria at their 30-31 October 2014 workshop and made some changes. The amended draft policy selection criteria will go to the Healthy Rivers Wai Ora committee meeting for their comment on 18 November 2014.

Other feedback from the workshop, including on values and uses, will be considered by the CSG at future workshops.
