Who we are

Rangatahi Voices is an independent, youth-led forum created to give young people in the Waikato a platform to influence positive change.

It’s designed by and for young people aged 14-27 from across the Waikato and caters to a broad range of political and social interests.

It’s also a great opportunity to develop teamwork and communication skills while building a platform to amplify the youth voice.

We're here to amplify the voices of rangitahi across the Waikato region. Watch, and find out more!

What we do

Meetings are held Wednesdays 6-8pm, in person at the Waikato Regional Council building (corner of Tristram and Ward St) and via Zoom. Both options are always available, but if you come in person a free dinner is always provided.

Life is busy, so we try to get the bulk of the discussion happening and decisions made during meetings. This leaves more time for you to do what you love doing - whether it’s activities relating to Rangatahi Voices mahi or the other activities you're involved in.
