This report assesses the extent to which the biodiversity (biological diversity) and natural heritage objectives in the Waikato Regional Policy Statement (RPS) are being achieved. The main conclusion is that the large majority of these methods are being implemented. There is however less attention to the natural heritage methods, particularly matters
such as landscape and amenity.
