The Port Waikato bar camera is experiencing technical issues. Please note that while the overlay says 'Kawhia', the camera is in fact showing the Port Waikato bar. We are working to correct these issues as soon as possible.

A bar camera has been installed at Port Waikato. The camera is independently powered, and sends out an updated picture every minute via the One New Zealand wireless network.

Please make sure you check the date and time displayed at the bottom left of the image.

The cameras are regularly monitored, but their remote and exposed locations mean that there may be technical issues from time to time. If you think something is wrong, please call 0800 800 401 to log a fault with the Maritime Services Team.
