Rangatahi Voices is an independent, youth-led forum, created to give young people in the Waikato a platform to influence positive change. Find out what's going on, or join in!

River schools to moana schools is a programme of work developed to advance mātauranga Māori in environmental education.

Waikato Enviroschools

Enviroschools is designed for primary, intermediate and secondary schools, and aims to integrate environmental education into the whole of school life. The Waikato Enviroschools programme is supported by Waikato Regional Council along with district and city councils.

Ruben the Road Safety Bear

Ruben the Road Safety Bear travels around the Waikato Region teaching children about road safety.

Reduce the Risk

Reduce the Risk aims to raise public awareness, reduce deaths and serious injuries, and improve the safety for all road users who travel on Waikato roads.

If you're looking for information on the Waikato region to support your school or education project, we've got lots of information and publications available on our website.  Take a look around the site, or use the search engine to see if there's anything on your topic of interest.

For example, if you want information about pollution you need to say what sort of pollution - water, air or ground/soil.  And don't leave it 'til the last minute! Make sure that you give us enough time to find the information and reply to meet your deadlines.
